kinda spacey

Well, I no longer have to use the silly little on-screen keyboard. I went out and bought the cheapest no-name, no-frills keyboard I could find. Only cost me about 9 bucks. It's quite a bit smaller and lighter than the old IBM board I had. I was kinda sad to see the old one go. It had those clicky keys that let you know you'd really pressed something.

Anyways, seeing as how I now have the use of an actual typing instrument again, I thought I might do a little typing. There's only so much of it I can do on livejournal, but I've got short stories to work on. Always have a couple of irons in the fire. "Don't you feed me lines about some idealistic future. Your heart won't heal right if you keep tearing out the sutures." I've got "Nothing Better" by the Postal Service going through my head. I was listening to it in the bar last night and it all of a sudden donned on me how similar some events in my life have been to that song.

Guess it's a universal kind of situation. On another note, I've got so much stuff to pack up. I suppose most of it is sort of self contained though, and a lot of stuff can just be thrown in bags. I think the problem is that it's going to take several trips and multiple carloads, and all that takes planning and coordination, which many of my friends don't possess. Of course I have to have everything out by the 23rd, so regardless of the hinderences, it still must be done quickly.

In fact I should get going on that. Hasta la vista - D
